Hi, I'm Karen. I'm a Post-Primary school teacher. I trained in Maynooth University to teach Maths & Music.
I am very passionate about Mathematics and use that passion to break down maths for students of all levels so that it is easy to understand and more enjoyable to learn.
I have been teaching Maths for 8 years in a DEIS school in Dublin and tutoring maths for 6 years outside of school. I have lots of experience breaking down problems to make them easy for all students to understand. My main goal when tutoring is to help students understand the processes involved in answering questions as well as breaking down each question so that they are easier to understand.
I strive to build a good rapport with my students and learn about them so that I can tailor explanations into something they enjoy and can understand.
My hourly rate is €40 p/h for JC Higher Level & LC Ordinary.
My hourly rate for JC Ordinary Level is €30 p/h
