I'm an English graduate and tutor with over 4 years of experience teaching LC students online, helping them reach and often exceed their goal grades in English. A First Class Honours graduate of English at UCD with a CELTA teaching qualification, my experience makes me well equipped to help students with aspects of the English exam and subject that they may struggle with, anything from poetry techniques and analysing past paper questions, to the comparative section of Paper 2.
I tailor my teaching approach to suit the individual needs of a student and ensure that I cover exactly what is important for their learning and improvement, and try to create a welcoming, non-stressful environment for us to work in. I can correct and grade LC English essays using the official marking scheme, help students create relevant, well-expressed points for maximum marks, and provide my own H1-standard materials.
My students each year have gone on to receive excellent marks in the Leaving Cert and have left very positive reviews regarding my tutoring. I am passionate about helping others improve their learning and hopefully enjoy some aspects of the English course along the way. My hourly rate is 30 Euro. Don't hesitate to get in touch!
