My name is Anita. I'm a retired Maths and English teacher with over 35 years experience.
My qualifications are a B.A. in Maths and English, H.Dip in Education and a Masters in teaching and learning.
I love to teach. I especially love one to one teaching. Over my career I've always given grinds, particularly in Maths, both face to face and online. During COVID I became very proficient in online teaching.
My approach is very much geared to simplifying information, focusing on problem-solving. I have found over many years that revising a section and focusing on exam papers is a great preparation for junior and leaving cert. I always aim to make maths enjoyable. I feel it is essential to foster a love of the subject for my student. Grinds would always, of course, be centred around exactly what my student needs. I'm willing to help through WhatsApp with any problems or questions between grinds.
I have also corrected maths for junior and leaving cert maths for 10+ years.
