Hello, my name is Adam McCue and I have been a secondary school teacher in both Dublin and Wicklow for the past 12 years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Irish and history from UCD, a Masters in Military History and Strategic Studies from National University of Ireland Maynooth and Postgraduate Diploma in Education also from UCD, where I achieved a 1:1 in my teaching practice component. I have taught all year groups, at all level of Irish and have experience of carrying out the official Leaving Certificate oral examination too.
Due to my 12 years experience of teaching, including working for two separate online tuition companies for 5 of those years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge regarding helping students, of all abilities, to achieve their goal in the subject of Irish. I aim to utilise a number of teaching methodologies in order to aid students improve on their current grade in the subject.
I endeavor to help students understand both their strengths and weaknesses in order for them to reach their true potential and am excited to do so. I offer private tuition for 35 euro per hour.
