My name is Aaron, I sat the Leaving Cert in 2019. I got 613 with H1s in all the subjects I offer grinds in. I am studying Medicine in college and am currently in my final year.

I have done grinds for 5 full years now and am going into teaching my 6th. I take on students of all levels. I have also coached in sport at secondary school level for the same period of time. I am Garda vetted through coaching and Medicine and have completed a module in childhood and adolescent medicine.

I aim to best suit the needs of the student and parents. If they want homework, I can set it. If they would prefer to keep it to just teaching in the grind, I am happy to do that too.

I find the best approach is to build confidence and have a proactive student, with more time with them answering questions than my droning on. I will absolutely explain and make sure they fully understand each concept, and will answer any question posed - but it is most important that they can reproduce the work independently and that is how I assess if I am doing a good job with them.
